You must send payment for taxes in Arizona for the fiscal year 2022 by April 18, 2023. The Extension Deadline is November 15, 2023 to file your Arizona corporate income tax return.

Arizona automatically grants 6 months extensions on filing corporate income tax returns if a federal extension is filed. If a payment is due you will need to file Form 120/165EXT with accompanying payment (if applicable).

This is an extension to FILE, not an extension to PAY - payment is still due April 18, 2023.

Extension to File S Corporation & Partnership Taxes in Arizona for 2022

You must send payment for taxes in Arizona for the fiscal year 2022 by March 15, 2023.

The Extension Deadline is September 15, 2023 to file your Arizona income tax return.

Arizona will automatically grant a 6 months extension on filing pass-through income tax return if a federal extension is filed.  If a federal extension is NOT filed, you will need to file Form 120/165EXT with accompanying payment (if applicable).

Estimated Tax Deadline for Arizona 2022

Calendar year filers - estimated payment due dates:

  • September 15, 2022
  • January 17, 2023

If you are a fiscal year filer, the payments are due on the 15th day of the fourth, sixth and ninth months of the current fiscal year, and the first month of the next fiscal year.

Estates Tax Deadline for Arizona 2022

Arizona Estate Tax filings are not required.

Farmer and Fisherman Taxes for Arizona 2022

If you report as a farmer or fisherman for federal purposes, you only have to make one installment for a taxable year. The due date for this installment for a 2022 calendar year filer is January 15, 2023.

The due date for a fiscal year filer is the 15th day of the first month after the end of a fiscal year.

There is no requirement to make this payment if you file your 2022 Arizona return on or before March 1, 2023 and pay in full the amount stated on the return as payable.
